the mix and match project was conceived by myself and chris schooley as a way of friends working collaboratively to educate ourselves and others about music. it started very simply: an exchange of mix cd's and coffee. then we talked more about it and decided to include more people, in an effort to make the result (hopefully) at least somewhat entertaining.

Mix & Match Vol. 3- submissions from the Prof.

Poltergeists have been reeking havoc upon the computers in my life in a style befitting the rapidly approaching holiday. I have been economical with my picks coming in just under 9 mins. But have done so in order to deliver the ghastliest of treats with a little trick up my sleeve.

C.A. Quintet - Cold Spider
Ghostly vocals and tortured guitar licks. Is there anything more haunting then the spectre of forgotten garage rock ghouls. What's that creeping across the cob- webbed keyboard of the nightmare organ? Dude, Cold Spider!

Black Mass - Exorcism
Early electronics were about the manipulation of the ether and collecting the vibrations of the spirit world. What diode devils possess these circuits? They are legion.

Count Chocula Intro - Count freakin Chocula
This cereal box compilation also included 17 mins. of the sounds of halloween which I didn't submit. The real gem is this tidbit from the seldom heard from anymore Count who is a dear friend of mine. The thing that people don't understand about Chocula is that he's a chocolate vampire, sure, but he's made out of chocolate.

"It's getting spooky in here!" Yeah, you hit the nail on the frickin' head Chocula.
